Background
After wandering around Friesland, we have now found a place where we feel comfortable and at home.
It is a place where we love to see our three children grow up. Peace and Freedom!
A wonderful backyard where the children can romp around to their hearts’ content.
Sufficient space for our animals; Lisselotte the wire-haired dachshund, two cats Loempa and Poeske, chickens, Sander our bad-tempered Shetlandpony and our horse Leonardo.
A nice size farm where the kitchen occupies an important place. This is where we spend most of our time.
It is where we relax, watch TV, play games and of course enjoy delicious cooking and eating together.
Kerstin and the kids love to cook on the AGA. They like to experiment with a variety of recipes and ingredients.
The village is in walking/cycling distance and we use the car for a quick trip to the shops and other facilities that make life enjoyable.

In addition to running the B & B we both work part-by in another company. Cor in the paper industry and Kerstin in health care.
The B & B we see mainly as a hobby and additional challenge and a not unimportant, extra income for the continuing development of our farm and outbuildings.
We think people enjoy an excellent stay here and we believe it is important for the guests to have all the advantages of our farm and the environment.

For those who like this type of building renovation, we can tell them all about our adventure in transforming our farm.
Whatever happens in the future the renovation work is and remains an enormous task. A great adventure.
Despite the many concerns and setbacks, it is nice to build something together.
The creation of something new, watching it grow and gradually moulding it to our own design and through your own efforts – this is something special.
